User Database Cleanup (Humans May Ignore)

In our ongoing effort to provide the best service to our customers and users of our site, we will be going through a user database cleanup effort in the next month. We will be removing users who have not ordered from us, posted to the forums, or posted comments on the site. This cleanup should not affect any human users, but remove bots who have accumulated a number of accounts over the years. If you have an account, but for some reason do not meet those requirements and you would like to keep your account, please let us know.

Site and Forum Enhancements

In an effort to make the site, and especially the 0Ω Forums, a more friendly tool and resource they have been enhanced. We have added functionality to make them look much more like a standard forum interface and have also provided more user configuration.

New features include:

  • New graphical interface with notifications for new, sticky, and hot threads
  • Interface changes to show user information on posts
  • Mark all posts as read
  • User titles based on roles or post count
  • Private messaging
  • User post statistics
  • Friending
  • Post bookmarking

    Two Recent Network Outages

    We have been subject to two recent network outages. Both were brief, but we have been working with our network provider to assure uninterrupted service. Unannounced downtime is not our idea of good customer service.

    We have been assured that our service is now more reliable and faster after today's outage, and we have also been told that we will be notified in advance of any future network planned outages.

    Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.
