These touchless buttons operate by detecting changes in capacitance caused by your finger approaching them.

Each button is 1"x1" and has a side-facing LED which illuminates when a push is detected. Add a keycap and a cutout to get a flashy button, or mount it inside an enclosure to have a discrete button.
